## Account Lockout Resolution
Your account will automatically lock after 5 failed login attempts.
### Why Accounts Get Locked
- Multiple incorrect password attempts
- Expired password not updated in time
- Sync issues between systems
- Unauthorized access attempts
### Self-Service Unlock
1. Wait **15 minutes** \u2014 accounts auto-unlock
2. Try logging in again with the correct password
3. If forgotten, use the **"Forgot Password"** link
### Contact IT Support
If still locked after 15 minutes:
1. Submit a ticket with subject **"Account Lockout"**
2. Include your username and approximate lock time
3. An agent will unlock and investigate
### Prevention
- Use a password manager to avoid typos
- Update password before expiry
- Ensure Caps Lock is off
- Check keyboard layout settings
