## Setting Up Dual Monitors
### Physical Setup
1. Place monitors at arm's length
2. Connect via HDMI, DisplayPort, or USB-C
3. Align at same height, minimal gap
### Windows Configuration
1. Right-click **desktop** \u2192 **Display Settings**
2. Click **"Identify"** to map physical monitors
3. **Drag** rectangles to match layout
4. Select **"Extend these displays"**
5. Set **primary monitor** ("Make this my main display")
### Recommended Settings
- **Resolution:** Native for both (1920\u00d71080 or 2560\u00d71440)
- **Scale:** 100% standard, 150% high-DPI
- **Orientation:** Landscape (or Portrait for side monitor)
### Using a Docking Station
Connect dock \u2192 laptop via USB-C \u2192 monitors to dock. Update dock firmware if not detected.
> **Tip:** Win+arrow keys snap windows between monitors quickly.
